I Just wanted to drop you a line thank you for sending my torch back to me that was very kind of you. I also wanted to compliment you on how nicely you maintain your boat as a professional engineer, I suppose I can be a bit anal about these things but I have to say despite her age she has got to be the best maintained boat I have sailed on including private vessels. Everything was in its place. Rigging was well maintained a good tool kit for emergencies (not that we had any) and the cleanest head I have had the displeasure of using (I guess nobody really likes using them). I hope I get to sail on her again with Sharon and the Girls and hope to meet you personally when we come down next time Thanks again for sending the torch back

catching up with you, and i hope you enjoyed a lovely weekend. having been in touch with my shipmates since, we all agree what a great trip e have had and what a great vessel you have. having used 36 footers previously, we really appreciated the extra deck space and room in the saloon. also she is in such great condition, obviously well looked after and maintained.

I've just had skipper Phil Steele's report for our next newsletter. It includes "an extensive refit bringing the boat up to a high standard",

"the boat sailed superbly", and "thanks to Kathy Shropshire Lady is now in better condition than when Neptune managed her 16 years ago".

They did have a good weekend, and the hot water and heating is particularly appreciated for winter sailing.
